Manning straddles Highway 3 between Hope and Princeton, a four-season park with drive-up subalpine access at Cascade Lookout and a network of car-camping loops around Lightning Lake. The Rhododendron Flats bloom in mid-June; Blackwall Peak meadows explode with wildflowers in late July; the Skyline Trail is one of southern BC's best backpacks.
